FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

“Uploading” is a name used for the process of transferring a file from your computer to your website. In order to upload files you need a program called an "FTP client".
Once you have downloaded and installed the FTP client, but before you can upload any files to your site, you will need the following information:

The FTP address used to log into your FTP directory on our server is "ftp://" followed by your domain name.
eg. ftp://www.your-domain.com.au

| Username : |
Your default username is your domain name eg. www.your-domain.com.au. If you have forgotten your username or are having any difficulty logging in, please contact us.

| Password : |
Your password is supplied along with your account set up information. If you have forgotten your password or are having any difficulty logging in, please contact us.

| Folder : |
Your files are to be placed in the "/web-files" directory. When your domain is entered in a web browser, the file "/index.html" is automatically displayed.
